One of the more
exotic aircraft to visit Warton in recent times, Iranian operator
Qeshm Air's Ilyushin IL-76TD, EP-TQI, Flight 'TRQ1170'
arrived from Tehran at dusk on March 20, 2001. The aircraft collected an Indian Navy Sea Harrier which had been under repair
by BAE following an earlier accident. The IL-76 departed the following
