Using call-sign
'Avro 01', Nimrod MRA.4 ZJ516 (PA01), made its first flight on Thursday,
August 26, 2004. The aircraft lifted off at
15:33 hrs, into the Woodford circuit where it was joined by BAE
Pilatus PC9 (ZG969) chase aircraft (call-sign 'Avro 01Bravo').
As 'Avro 01 Combine', both aircraft set off for the North Wales
test area, before landing at Warton (see).
